RE:RE:RE:RE:Freeport answer

RE:RE:RE:RE:Freeport answerThe smelter play is interesting, but why does Freeport need to own the smelter, when it can get cheap power from the government there, and the Canadian government is using taxpayer money to finance the expansion. All Freeport needs is a solid long term deal for smelting. Then it can focus on the mining it is expert at. What it needs is Timok to be big and whatever else it can find so it has a mega play in the region. It will declare materiality when it has all the pieces in place including RMC and maybe other land parcels, and including the smelting contract. Until then mum's the word I would guess. But still it was nice to see the response to Rob from FCX. It shows this is on the radar for senior Freeport brass.
