Hello Kurd33 Bargain Price?? Well I suppose it depends on your perpective or long term outlook for the company and its potential earnings. I feel reasonably confident that NCU has proven up an economic copper deposit at Pumpkin Hollow, and that it will eventually get its land permits and finish developing its underground and open pit mine to the point where it will begin earning some money from its operations, for the benefit of its shareholders. Certainly $1.30/shr is a bargain compared to the $4.00 you mention providing there is value to be had. But my real thinking is that anytime you can pick up a share of a business for less than its book value, its a bargain, providing the company has decent prospects of making earnings. I am not overly concerned by todays share price since I have a longer term vision for my holdings. If the share price dropped to a buck, I would be delighted with the opportunity to buy more since I at least see good value. Of course, if you are a speculator by nature, you would be none too pleased by these short term price gyrations. The copper market has cooled from a while back and this has taken some of the speculative element out of todays share price. I am generally positive about the prospects for a recovering global economy and Dr. Copper is often considered an indicator. However, we all must recognize that we have bought a company with no earnings at present....In terms of earnings alone, it is ridiculously overpriced since it has none. In terms of book value, its a bargain, in terms of earnings, its overpriced. Like I said, it depends on your perspective. thomsoni
