RE:The US MARKET is way overbought and i am in with HVU...al182... I agree with you. Everyone always says HVU is not meant to be held for a few months. But there are rare times in history where you can make a BOAT load by holding it for 2 months. I believe this is one of those times. I researched the S&P 500 historical prices and when it has a 2 year run of 15% and 28% followed back to back, the 3d year is usually a 10% down year or at best zero growth. The only time the S&P 500 had 3 years of huge gains each year consecutively was in the late 90's which was an exception with the Dot Com once in a century type artificial hype. If somehow the S&P 500 defies the odds and closes 2014 at $2,000 it will not be such a year without a huge 10% pullback first. Now is a ripe time for a pullback because the December artificial rally is done with and the monthly chart S&P 500 RSI reading is 74.25 !!! The last time it was that high was right before the 2008 crash. Warren Buffett buys stocks when RSI below 30 and sells when above 70. So if there's anytime to hold for 2 months, now is the time. I have my money where my mouth is and bought $25K at $7.04. The other poster, said it doesn't always follow the S&P 500, however, those are only rare days, if you average a few weeks time, it does follow the S&P 500. Also, there are days where HVU goes up even when the S&P 500 goes up to cancel out the other anomaly days. Mid month is one of those weeks where it can deviate from the S&P 500 a bit and incur erosion because 30 day VIX contracts expire and new predictions are made. I think mid January will be great for HVU. If you held HVU for 2 months at todays $7.00 price, at worst case you would break-even.
