Actually the mine is scheduled to be commissioned in the fall of 2015, not the spring.
With the usual hiccups, etc. in bringing a mine to production, it will more likely be mid-winter - around 2 years from now.
This is a direct quote from Canadian Zinc in their recent letter to the MVLWB:
“Commissioning of the Mill would occur in fall 2015, and the first lead and zinc concentrates would be trucked out on the access road in winter 2016, with the first revenue being received sometime thereafter almost three years into the terms of the permits.”
