epic weekend at Whistler

epic weekend at WhistlerHuge amounts of snow and huge crowds.  I'm guessing WB's 1st quarter will be down from last year (due to low snowfall), but I don't think I've seen bigger lines than on Saturday when everybody was charged for the 50cms.  Sunday was also packed but way better lines because the upper lifts were open.
It's a great business when thousands of people are spending at least $100 per day, and leaving wtih huge smiles ready to do it again as soon as possible.  Although not part of WB, as a reference point the cheapest hotel we could find was $270 for the night plus parking.
Great business, great stock - if you buy enough the dividends cover your lift tickets.
Cheers,
D
