Canadian Observer - Higher demand, storage deficit to pull up Dawn cash basis
Total demand in Eastern Canada is up today from 4.2 Bcf/d Monday to 4.6 Bcf/d. Temperatures in Ontario are expected to fall by nine degrees today to a high of 15 degrees.  Bentek models suggest temperatures in the region to continue to decline through Jan. 19, dipping as low as four degrees. Demand in Eastern Canada will continue to rise as a result of the colder weather.  This demand increase will also require storage withdrawals from Dawn, which is already well below normal for this period of the year. Expect further upward pressure on Dawn cash basis throughout the week to support withdrawals.less
