Enhanced Large Diamond Recovery Circuit From what limited information that has been given to us by LUC this appears to be what they are refering to by enhanced large diamond recovery circuit . 60% of all HPGRs that are installed in the minerals industry are installed by this company. POLYCOM is already being used for diamond liberation in Africa.
This is just pure speculation on my part but this seems to be where a good portion will be spent by LUC ? Hard if not impossible to find a price for a HPGR but i am not thinking $45mill. Perhaps find a public company who has done this recently and check out what they paid ?
What is amazing is the speed in which a $45 mill plant upgrade is expected to be completed ? It suggests to me that the legwork had already been done , a tender was put out some time ago and an order was placed perhaps on condition . I find it extremely hard to believe that LUC just recently made a phone call , purchased all this right off the shelf , along with the manufacture's engineers on site and installed in less than a Year.
