RE:RE:Bill BennettSome very good points Cinqueport on the workings and politics of a government department!
A couple of responses to your procedures view:
- I think it is quite possible...under the circumstances...that Bennett may be a little more concerned than you suggest. Reason being....His boss, Christy Clarke has largely staked her political reputation on the line over LNG Plants and pipelines in the north of beautiful British Columbia. The economic well being of the province will be largely impacted by these developments as well...to the tune of 100 + BILLION DOLLARS!!!!!!!!
- A lot of the permitting for these mega projects will take place in...you guessed...in the little old Smithers office.
- Now if the MEM members of that office have made the permitting of such a simple BULK gravel pit so difficult........over two years in the making......and counting...then how in the heck our they ever going to deal with the tremendous on slaught of MAJOR, MAJOR, MAJOR and I mean MAJOR new permitting applications coming through their door over the next several years??????????? Time is a ticking...........
- If I were Bill Bennett, I think I would like to know about the HBK experience.......and once hearing about it......I would be extremely concerned about.......WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON IN THAT SMITHERS OFFICE!!!!!
- Furthermore, I have heard there are other applications being processed in Smithers that have basically been a nighmare for the companies trying to get their properties permitted!!!
- Cinqueport...In your analogy of how things work with MEM - I am interested in your opinion regarding how Diane will proceed with the letter she received from Vic expressing his concerns regarding the activity of the Smithers office?
I appreciate and value your opinions. Nice and comforting to know we have some quality and seasoned investors in our little HBK! JMHOs. DYDD.
Cheers and good luck to all....very possible we are gettting close,
