RE:RE:RE:What is the Date of the Consolidation
" Sirously " ... Of course the share price might increase. A lot depends on next weeks announcements.
First of all the China deal with Cachet is due to be completed next week. Now if it is announced that it has been completed with the future financing clause included which MOM requested in her " letter of intent " to Cachet then I could see a nice increase as then she would not have to be continually concerned about future financings. This is one of the main reasons why her share price is where it is at now. But if the deal is not completed as MOM has requested then the share price could trend lower once again.
But you have to try and read between the lines at the same time and ask youself that if the deal was going as MOM hopes then why the 10 for 1 share consolidation ?? One of the main reasons for venture exchange outfits doing share consolidations is that it is much easier for a tight stock to raise financing money than one with a lot of shares. In the past year MOM did a financing at .11 cents .. then the next one was at .09 cents ... etc. ... finally right down to her last one at .06 cents. Now she has too many shares outstanding along with a low single digit share price so future financings are pretty well out of the question now. If the China deal was going as MOM requested then I don't understand why she would have to do the consolidation.
Now also next week MOM will also be announcing her next quarterly financial results. If these results show that the demand for her products is picking up then again there could be an uptick in her share price. But if they show that there is still no demand for her products then the share price could head lower once again.
Next week is going to be a very important week for MOM.
Then you also have to take into account what usually ( but not always ) happens after a share consolidation . Quite often there will be an uptick in the share price but If there has been no substantial change with the company ( such as management change , or a different approach to selling her products , or a new product developed etc. ... etc.... ) then the share price usually heads back to it's original trend and continues to hit lower lows. If the company has changed nothing then it just shows you that the " real reason " for the consolidation is ( as I have stated above ) that they are having too difficult a time trying to raise more financing money.
Now having said that take a look at part of Moreaus's announcement this week ( which I have copied and pasted below ). On the first paragraph he says that he wants to provide some additional information on the recent announcement to consolidate Miraculins shares. What " additional information " has he provided ?? Look at the second paragraph. Nothing at all other than he is not making any changes. Just political mumbo jumbo. It would have been much better if he had said that MOM was making some changes as the way things are going for her in the past year is obviously no good ... just look at what has happened to her share price.
When management issues a statement like this then it always makes me wonder why ?? Are they having a hard time holding the share price where it is at now ?? I mean why even issue this statement ??
Anyways only my opinion and I could be completely wrong here but at least I am not afraid to put an opinion on the bullboard and talk about MOM.
I also want to take a moment to provide you with some additional information regarding the recent announcement to consolidate Miraculins shares, along with some further perspective on the company, its strengths, and our long-term goals and objectives.
Miraculins Stock Consolidation
From time to time, companies listed on the TSX Venture exchange will announce a consolidation of their share structure when the company is planning to change direction, change its name, or to start fresh as part of a major corporate reorganization. This is not the case with the proposed Miraculins stock consolidation. I want all shareholders to clearly understand that Miraculins remains committed to achieving the goal of building a world-class medical device company by bringing our innovative technologies to those in need around the world, and generating the financial rewards that can result for our shareholders. The consolidation is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
