RE:first flight
twilight I have no doubt it will fly and be a success. If you elieve 28 flights since it went up means nothing then why did they always keep on saying everything was on schedule and continue to. Everybody knows it is not. Just come out and say it, then all the air is out and no more need for guesses and speculation. Remember that wooden static model they were so proud of, how it would be able to detect problems before flight, would make things a lot smoother. Well???
We know it flies, if there is or they find problems that is what the whole test flights are for. Remember when they were so proud and confident that they would get 50% of the small narrow body aircraft market. Well if their competitors have already sold and delivered by the time this thing is ready the airlines won't just scrap them and buy new ones no matter how fuel efficient they are. Even if they did BBD doesn't have the might to produce near the numbers of their competitors or the resources.
Warm fuzzy feelings won't get those laid off any help when the bills come in nor the company as there won't be any cash coming in for another year at least. Probably late fees more like it and a further drain on the balance sheet. Which mean guess what the RJ won't see any improvements and will be pretty much be dead and no longer competitive.
You may laugh all you want but right now the traders are getting the last laugh because they know every delay is one more dollar lost out of BBD's account. With no proof of any savings customers haven't flooded the phones with orders. If one cancelation happens before EIS the CSeries gets one foot in the grave.
