all the ducks were in order:  M&P deal closed, sold off the Colombian rigs, next on the agenda was the payment of the debt on Jan 24 and meeting of financial ratios...

they have received enough funds from the sale of the african business and the colombian rigs to meet the payment.

so think something else is on the works.
