Nouveau Monde drills 7.1 m of 16.9 Cg at Matawinie

Nouveau Monde drills 7.1 m of 16.9 Cg at Matawinie
NOUVEAU MONDE : FALL 2013 DRILLING RESULTS FROM THE MATAWINIE PROPERTY Nouveau Monde Mining Enterprises Inc. has released positive results of the fall 2013 drilling program on the Matawinie graphite property located in the St-Michel-des-Saints area, about 140 kilometres north of Montreal, Que. The late October to late November drill campaign consisted of 19 BQ-size drill holes totalling 1,505 metres. The program was designed to test two distinct multikilometric electromagnetic anomalies referred to as Ti-Nou and Gros-Nou (see press release dated Oct. 23, 2013). A total of 192 split core samples, averaging one metre in length, were analyzed for graphitic carbon and sulphur content. Of these, 112 samples returned significant Cg results (greater than 5 per cent Cg). All of the 19 drill holes, with the exception of hole TN-12, displayed mineralized intersections over 4 per cent Cg measuring a minimum of one metre in length. The 10 most significant intersections grading over 5 per cent Cg over five m are reported in the attached table. The highest assay result was obtained in hole GN-5, which returned a one-metre intersection grading 24.6 per cent Cg. A total of 11 core holes were drilled on the Ti-Nou area along the main linear electromagnetic anomaly. The distance between the easternmost and westernmost holes spans a length of approximately 1,385 m. The eight drill holes located on the Gros-Nou anomaly cover an area of approximately 360 m by 640 m.
