RE:Load up, Load up, Load up!! https://3dprintingstocks.com/ Intrinsyc Software International ("Intrinsyc" or the "Company") (TSX:ICS), a leading developer of mobile and embedded devices, announced that they are integrating the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 800 processor and Toshiba HDMI conversion chipsets to enable the next-generation of Stream TV's real-time conversion processing hardware solution for Glasses-Free 3D.
Utilizing the DragonBoard™ development kit from Intrinsyc, which features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (APQ 8074) processor from Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., Stream TV Networks, a Philadelphia based technology Company and developer of Ultra-D2160p 3D Glasses Free Display and Conversion technology, has successfully ported their 3D Glasses Free Ultra-D 2160p real-time conversion technology. Ultra-D algorithms running on Intrinsyc's Open-Q™ 8074 System on Module design will convert all input content '2D or 3D Stereo content' to Ultra-D 2160p (4K glasses free 3D content).
The Ultra-D™ technology allows users to connect their satellite or cable service, VOD, Blu-ray player, XBOX or PlayStation directly into the TV using Ultra-D™ 2160p technology. Using complex algorithms the Ultra-D™ technology converts the content into 8 million pixels without scaling, using disparity between images. Content from Netflix, Hulu, YouTube and other video sites get converted directly into glasses free 3D. Photographs also can now be seen in 3D. The Ultra-D2160p 3D Glasses Free Display and Conversion technology converts content from both 2D and 3D with glasses, into Glasses-Free 3D.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor offers ground-breaking CPU, GPU and DSP performance, energy efficiency and rich multimedia capabilities for embedded computing applications, enabling great graphics, 3D games and videos. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor also features asynchronous quad-core Krait CPUs with up to 2.3GHz each, Adreno 330 GPU, Ultra HD video capture and playback, and a Hexagon™ QDSP6 for low-power applications and custom programmability.
"The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor is an incredible system on chip that greatly enhances the user experience in a wide range of applications, especially video games and high resolution movies," says Mathu Rajan, CEO. "The DragonBoard development platform, Open-Q system-on-module, and engineering expertise from Instrinsyc, has been a huge help in getting our 3D conversion technology rapidly integrated with this powerful processor.
"We are excited to be able to work with Stream TV on their advanced Glasses Free 3D technology," stated Tracy Rees, CEO, Intrinsyc. "With StreamTV's unique 3D conversion technology running on the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, consumers will get an incredible gaming or viewing experience."
