The Rabbit North project comprises over 34 mineral tenures covering across 16,400 hectares (ha), which is situated around 14 kilometers (kms) southwest of New Gold Inc. and 27 km northeast of Teck Resources Ltd. The Nechako Gold property comprises 10 mineral tenures totaling across 2,975 hectares in the Nechako Plateau Region of central British Columbia (BC). Nechako gold property is approximately 30 kms northeast of New Gold Inc.'s Blackwater development project. The More Creek property comprises five mineral tenures totaling 6,430 hectares in the Golden Triangle District of northwest British Columbia. The project is situated over 120 kms north of Stewart, British Columbia and approximately 10 kms to the east of the property.

This is mere speculation on my part. But my feeling is that much of the initial buying was probably from the inner circle of people that have a connection with the principals of the company who seem to be solid individuals in the financial and mining community (i.e. Christopher Leslie who was the geologist associated with NGD and the Blackwater project) Also the favourable results of the geophysical analysis done on their property (which is very close to NGD's property) certainly didn't hurt and obviously points to a drilling program when the conditions are right. And if there is any indication of favourable results what an ideal situation to be in, being so close to NGD, as well as having connections in the past with the people of NGD. IMO for what it is worth.
