Im sure its not so that fur trappers have access to their snares...

Two questions arise out of this curiosity:
BGM has a permit to mine 75k ish tons each year. The 2013 fiscal year ends in february and Im assuming the permit coincides with the fiscal year and not the calendar year [perhaps that is an incorrect assumption]....

1. Could the mining be started within the permit year (fiscal or calendar) but completed in the subsequent year (2014)...?
2. How long would it take to mine and stockpile the 75k ish tons from BL...?

Apparently mill is starting in about 8 weeks, modulo spring break up delays.

Operating at 750 tons per day works out to 100 days to reach yearly quota. Or roughly 750 tons per day.  15 tons per day is about what a strong hippo could do in a day. So put in a few machines and not a problem in doing 750 tons a day -- would work out to maybe 22 truck trips (at 35 tons per truck) over 100+ kilometers to haul to mill. Or say 5+ round trips a day, works out a fleet of roughly 4 trouks hauling to the mill over 100 days and you are at quota.

Another question to add to your list is whether and when BGM can extend the 75K t per year quota. Apparently the director was quite positive on the prospect of increasing the permit limit when he spoke this past weekend.
