Alternate Symbol(s):  DBOXF

D-BOX Technologies Inc. is engaged in the business of designing haptic and immersive experiences. The Company creates and redefines realistic, immersive experiences by moving the body and sparking the imagination through effects: motion, vibration and texture. Whether it’s films, video games, music, relaxation, virtual reality applications, metaverse experience, themed entertainment or professional simulation, the Company creates a feeling of presence that makes life resonate like never before. With unparalleled mastery of haptics, the Company offers the synchronization of body movements with images and sound, such as software haptic effects, haptic processor, and the haptic system. A haptic processor serving as an interface between the content and the haptic system recognizes the content being played.

RE:RE:RE:Industrial Alliance Loading up on Shares

RE:RE:RE:Industrial Alliance Loading up on SharesI've had a look at it.

It's a very theoretical valuation based only on DCF @ 15%. The assumptions are not out of this world, but quite aggressive (4,800 screens, 115,200 seats over 10 years, with a pick-up in deployment in 5-6 years and 700$ annual revenues per seat).

Anyway, there's no way that this stock will be valued based on expected high number of seats deployment 5-6 years out... at least not at 15% discount rate...

But I think that the stock will pick-up momentum rapidly when we will see the deployment numbers getting up, but it might be 2-3 years from now (and I do believe it will pick-up, I've read/saw multiple reports of theaters owners saying that they need to make their product an experience for the consumer, as the current big screen, surround sound, 3D isn't cutting it vs. the home theater).
