Railwaze - I wanted your posts to be out there for a long time so they get seen by the world including the Michigan DNR who was pointed to your posts. Why? Because you are the voice of AQA. You are ignored by 24 people but still what you’re saying must be what AQA is telling people for these people to throw their money away buying AQA stock. You did what any uneducated person would do – Google answers and try and fit what you found into your argument, NOT KNOWING WHAT YOU’RE WRITING WILL BE USED TO MAKE THE POINT YOUR TRYING NOT TO ADMIT. Based on FACTS; this is what you’re saying: ACID GENERATING microbes will be used to leach (dissolve) zinc, gold and other metals including lead, mercury, cadmium and other heavy metals from this ore? ACID GENERATING… ARE THE KEY WORDS!. So instead of trying to prevent ACID MINE DRAIN AGE you are saying any mine would create it and try to control it – within 50-feet of a 500-foot wide river (that floods this area routinely) that flows into Lake Michigan and is the boundary between 2 states – so the EPA regulates what happened. Next to a County Park containing 5-lakes. In an area of significant ground water? Property that contains wetlands, creeks and swamps. Another BIG POINT: These microbes need to have HEAT…. They don’t do well even at ambient temperature. They need 35-40C and for the past 2 months it’s been -17 every other day. The average low temperature from October through March is below FREEZING…. So, either you put these ores and microbes in a vessel and heat it up (EXPENSIVE, TIME CONSUMING and SLOW) you get nothing… except ACID. Thanks for getting a lot of people concerned.
