RE:RE:RE:RE:Pay attention harjerk This is what i got from Mark.
I typically don’t like to comment on posts that are made online or in a public forum or other discussion boards due to their anonymous and ambiguous nature. However I will make an exception this time as this particular individual has made numerous attempts to put into question the integrity of Simba Energy, its management team and employees.
What I can tell you is there are no issues concerning Simba Energy’s PSC in Kenya and the reference made in your email. There was a small internal error made by the Kenyan government when they granted Simba Energy its PSC back in 2011. Simba created a Kenyan company that owns the Kenyan PSC due to Kenyan law that requires the PSC holders to be a “Kenyan” based and domiciled company. (Simba Africa Rift Energy Ltd.)
When the PSC was formalized, Simba’s PSC was put in Simba’s Canadian, publicly traded entity, Simba Energy Inc. instead of being in the Kenyan company, Simba Africa Rift Energy Limited.
This was a clerical error made which came into focus during the negotiations with Ajax and was immediately addressed. Simba provided Ajax with several official letters from the Kenyan Government which confirmed that Simba indeed held the PSC for block 2-A in Kenya. This was not the reason that Simba terminated the MOU in Kenya.
It has all been worked out and there are no issues whatsoever with the new farm out partner from Calgary and the LOI that Simba has just entered into.
I hope this helps to clarify things and please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions.
Regards,
Mark
