A lot of companies in Colombia right now are discovering shallow reservoirs overlaying larger prospective targets. Canacol, Exxon, and Shell have had significant difficulty with pressure issues at greater depths when targeting some of these deeper reservoirs. The situation PDQ encountered while trying to reach the Caballos at greater depth sounds reminiscent of what these companies have been dealing with. I'm not saying it is the exact same situation, but regardless when you are dealing with unexpected geological differences at great depths it complicates drilling.
