Re-establishing relations with major customersIn the press release they noted that they are trying to "re-establish commercial relations with the Corporation's major customers".
While professional consultants certainly have the ability to stabilize the business, that is, go through the day to day, I am unsure that they have the ability to re-build the company's relationships as they take a lot of time and trust.
There are a few exceptions to that;
1) Drop your price so that you are the cheapest in town
2) The customer wants your product regardless of who is in charge
3) The relationship is not with the CEO but with the different managers within each company
I will add a fourth, which I am very much speculating on. Did Beidahuang leave because Mr. Yu and Ding Xiaofeng, Beidahuang's former CEO, collude together for their self interest and when Ding was fired in December was the reason Beidahuang took action against Hanfeng?
If you recall, Ding was the one who told the Board and Deloitte that they would leave if HF was not private. It is rather odd timing that after he was terminated, only then did the new management take action to terminate the deal with HF. If this is the case, HF's new management may have a better chance of re-establishing relations with its former major customer if Mr. Yu is not in the picture (Again, this last sentence is speculation on my part).
