RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Waterfront Capital TweetYes, I knew about that but I was comparing TransGaming against Netflix, which uses the subscription model. If you agree there's not much future there and instead you think we should expect great things from the ad-based model I'd be happy to discuss that too. Unfortunately you failed to tell us why exactly that will work better. So before telling me I should do my homework, make sure you have some answers yourselve...
The App Store and Play Store have free games as well. So anyone who gets an Apple TV or a Chromecast for their dumb TV, or a Smart TV running Android, gets free access to a lot of games. Many even quite good and very popular. So how is the ad-based model going to work any better for TransGaming? Correct me if I'm wrong but they seem entirely unnecessary at this point. If Apple or Google wanted to offer game developers an ad-based source of revenue they can easily create a framework for that themselves. Heck, for Google serving ads is all they do so I'm sure their interest in getting these game on TV is ad related and not so much getting some of the sales price for apps.
