Five years is a long wait....

Five years is a long wait....

The feasibility study for the Danakhil project in the Dallol region of northeast Ethiopia indicates it will produce about one million tonnes of potash annually within five years.

Saw a good article on-line in the Sun of all places, it cautioned against falling in love with a stock and extolled the virtues of diversification, something I've mentioned here before. Given the long time line, there are obviously lots of things that can happen over the next 4-5 years. Nobody was predicting the Russian ploy before it happened...who knows where the potash market will be in a year or two, to say nothing of four or five.

Here's the link to the article:

Don't fall in love with one stock

Infatuation and chocolate both produce a dopamine high. A gooey fudge brownie might not be an exact substitute for a hot date, but hey, the sugar rush will get you through the night!

Along the same lines but possibly more dangerous, some investors get a charge out of betting on one stock. They obsess and believe it is the one.

(sounds like the writer might be reading this board)
