Teuton on the Futon* The rising price of gold and silver -- if it continues to surge and follows through -- could be the tide that lifts all boats; just the trick to turn moribund juniors into targets for Big Gold as they had been in times past.
Could it be that some juniors will not only get off their proverbial deathbeds, but start racing in marathons? Why not. History always repeats itself and the possibility of a juniors' gold rush-- which has happened before -- is very real. The question is when not if.
Neither AMK or TUO is flush with cash. Hopefully, no matter what the judge's verdict is, when one is rendered, both companies will know where they stand and might be able to finally resolve their dispute.
And, Cochise, there is another possible court verdict; one not completely "for" TUO or AMK but some kind of half-hearted 43-57 or 41-59 percent split; in other words, a few percentage points from the 51-49 either way! (Or the court could leave the original agreement intact!) That would obviate the need to assess legal fees to either party. Just speculation on my part.
My suggestion to shareholders of both companies, root like heck for gold to start flying. That would clear the way to higher share prices and give both companies the ability to raise cash again. (I can dream, can't I?)
* By "Teuton on the futon;" I meant that I hope it's just resting now!
PS: Does Janet Yellin inspire confidence in the dollar? Just wondering.
