I think, all original (old) RPL shareholders should join you on this. One can write a book about it.
The first scum or surprise was in March 2013 when higher than anticipated debt figures were disclosed and shares went down from about $2.15 to $1.15. Then a special committee was formed to seek for 'strategic alternatives' and those poor shareholders hoped there will be a way out to recover most of their losses. 9 months later there is this paper deal and a dilemma - take a $1.35 now or hope for the best.
As for me, I bought this thing in May speculating on a takeover, while getting paid. I did not expect this thing to break below a $1... faced a decision to take a loss or average down. Decided for the latter and loaded up hundreds of thousands. I can't complain as made good gains. As for the process, ugly proxy fight included, I hope we all learned lessons.
