Who said anything about the end of the world? Currency collapses have happened hundreds of times through out history. Empires come and go history proves it. If you think the "Modern World" is immune to change and even drastic change you are deluding yourself.

It is usually those living in the empire that think the rest of the world can't live without them...and the end will come for everyone when it comes for them. Error... We still seem to be around after the collapse of countless empires big and small.

The world will go on, I am just putting my bet that the next currency system will be based on gold. History says it works, I'll go with that rather than some modern economists derivative creation.
