RE:RE:Frustrated with Nolanbargainhunts is right on the money. There should never be any rush to deploy capital. On the contrary, caution is warranted, especially after the Colossus fiasco. (No doubt some of the same "Monday morning quarterbacks" who thought that deal was inadequately evaluated are now eager to see the company rush into making a similar mistake.)
It's easy to understand people's frustrations when their investment isn't performing the way they'd like it to. Questioning management decisions and discussing the various options and outcomes is all part of being an active investor, and besides, it's great fun. (Mongolia comes to mind.) But don't forget that there are always all sorts of things going on behind the scenes that ordinary stockholders don't know about, and important information we are not privy to.
Anybody who seriously thinks they know better how to run the company they are invested in than its management does would probably be better off not wasting their time complaining about it on stock discussion boards. It would be more profitable - and certainly more effective - to take the same advice they are offering management:
Deploy their capital elsewhere.
