Good Post Little James,
                                          I dont know about any Canadian Government entities being anxious to fund Bloom Lake, but I think the NL Government must be very aware that with the closing of the Wabush mine and the way it turned its back on the Vale strikers, if Kami is not built the Labradorians just might revolt and try to secede from NL and take their riches with them.
       The NL Government has its back to the wall on this,  altho I cant say for sure they are  aware of it.  When the tax collector lives in Newfoundland and all the taxes are collected in Labrador,  sensitivity is required to maintain the status quo.
      Nevertheless, there is no reason to pre suppose that the Chinese will back out of Kami Alderon and a lot of good reasons for them to stay in.
