RE:Bids
Hi, yes I am still around. Just that I am very busy with my own business, my other top investments and quite frankly this board has gone to hell. I still have a good position for me but reduced it, not because of the company or anything negative, but more for my other investments had changes where I had to move capital over to take advantage of a few situations, and felt that 40 cents range would continue until material news, seems correct so far. If you are lookin for some insight though, I can give some.
I traditionally only own a small amount of stocks, so I can keep focus, and do extreme DD on them. I will move capital between all of them depending on situations, but stick my thesis unless broken. My friends that invest in my picks, just hold for longer time frames, they still have an unchanged position. I actually record all sales from houses as well within my top picks over every day. Last week I did a review of sales since the end of the year. Although the volume has been low, there actually has been a large turnover over of the longs in this company, by my numbers. The actual free trading float in this company is very small. Back several months back, some longs that enjoyed huge returns over the last year, in my opinion clearly moved on and are gone. They have been replaced by new investors, which have bought in the 40 cents range. So alot of cheap paper has gone. You can tell by the total lack of posting as well of these people on stockhouse. Many of these people may not be day traders, but many are technical traders and only long as long as the short term or mid term chart shows them. Don't be surprised if you see the same names showing up saying they never sold.
I also think though, and this is my opinion only, that many are just waiting for conformation of the 5 year contract, as well of any others signed. Once that is confirmed, my guess is alot of blue sky ahead after that, especially with a higher buying prices. Also many institutions that can buy have been building positions, replacing retails. The thing with this is it's contract work, not like some other tech plays. Still very undervalued, but the market wants to see the announcement of signed deals after a year of huge run. The good thing is when you get the deals it's guaranteed revenue and profit, where some other plays you have to real do more guess work/DD or technical analysis on what they will have.
I have spoken to company on various occaisons, they are working on contracts. Really comes down to execution now. LOI's take time in business, but a deal isn't a deal until it's done. The venture is fickle. Seems to me that some very careful and smart accumilation has been going on all year. And yes untraditional bids show something to me.
Just my 2 cents, not sure if it makes a difference or not.
Go Canada Go for Gold on Sunday!!!!
Cheers
