Pro/Con

Pro/ConIn terms of timeline, booker won't need the allotted time after the working group expresses their concerns of 20 days or whatever it is. I think this is why Sasky05 is leaning towards end of May opposed to June. Regardless of May or June the outcome will be known within a few months. Booker does have the cleanest assessment report in B.C.'s history, plus won a Supreme Court case, plus has industry experts on their side. Sprinkle in the banter of this government being pro-mining and its hard not to feel optimism. The issue is, we have all been burnt so badly that we have a persistence bias that what happened in October '12 will happen again this May/June. I hope that mgmt. has a contingency plan in place so that this isn't drawn out another 2-3 years in the event the gov rejects for a second time. Mgmt is very optimistic that this outcome will not occur, but they also never thought it would have been rejected in the first place. All of us have learned a valuable lesson through the deception of gov and the over-optimism of mgmt. in that we feel trapped or even in denial that this project won't advance, but unfortunately I believe that in order for Morrison to proceed it will need a partner with deep pockets that has a relationship with Clark or Bennett. I hope I am wrong about that but companies such as Ajax, Pretium, Seabridge, Yellowhead to name a few have the support of the Liberals of which sadly we do not. Compounding that sad fact, the gov controls our destiny in the short term. I hope that science and the facts are the basis for a result because if that happens we have a mine. T-minus 3 months and counting....
