News Feb the 26thNevada Clean Magnesium Travels to London at the Request of ScanMag AS

(via Thenewswire.ca)
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA - (AccessWire) - February 19, 2014 -Nevada Clean Magnesium, Inc. (TSXV: NVM; Frankfurt-M1V; OTC Pink Sheets: MLYFF) (the "Company") today announced the engagement of Silvertip Design NW to provide detailed engineering plans for the construction and development of a proprietary pilot reduction furnace for the Tami-Mosi project, located in Central Nevada.
Based on the principles of the Bolzano thermal reduction process, the pilot reduction furnace will include a number of alternative condensers. The unit will be used to process dolomite ore from Tami-Mosi to produce magnesium ingot expected to meet ASTM B-92 grade for magnesium metal. Although not as prolific in global magnesium production as the more costly Pidgeon Process, versions of the Bolzano Process, using ferrosilicon as the reductant, is operated today by a magnesium producer in Brazil. Nevada Clean chose to adopt the Bolzano approach due to the benefits of resistance heating and the simple furnace design required to achieve highly efficient energy utilization, good vacuum integrity and environmentally acceptable.
Operation of the pilot furnace being developed by Nevada Clean will be used to gain critical engineering data for the Company's planned prefeasibility study. More specifically, Nevada Clean will use this data to test a number of condenser designs, prove the quality of the ore from the Tami-Mosi ore body, and generate metal samples for quality assessment by potential future customers. The initial design work being tasked to Silvertip is expected to be completed on or before February 28, 2014. Britt Bell, owner of Silvertip Design NW and a 40-year veteran of the industrial light metals industry, will serve as the chief project designer on the project.
"Nevada Clean is delighted to welcome Britt to our project development team. His depth of mechanical engineering experience, earned working for some of the world's largest light metal industrialists is expected to prove invaluable to our Company as we persist in our mission to become a major U.S. producer and distributor of magnesium metal to the global markets."
About Nevada Clean Magnesium, Inc.
