It doesn’t have to be always complicated. I have been in the markets for many years, and I have seen the market under estimate/over estimate the likelihood of key events on many occasions. Very few people follow a company to the extent it is followed on this message board, most institutions react to the news rather than anticipate them; except for hedge funds which are usually more proactive, but Longview is too small and too illiquid to be of interest to such funds.
