I totally disagree with your argument GG.....

"The point is to MAKE a point, that we're watching" - .... and what good is that going to do? Ned is proposing an admemdment. The only thing that matters is if it passes or not. The fact that people are watching doesn't concern him because that has no impact on the objective. So as long as Ned is abiding by the rules, you & I are SOL and a few votes against his proposal means squat and will be out-of-sight, out-of-mind as soon as the vote counting is done. It will be onto the next objective.
Also, look at the forum where you are making your point. You think Ned or his guys are watching (every stock board) for public opinion or other small-fry shareholders'opinion? You only have one say.... "Yay"or "Nay"" on your proxy with no additional verbage. That is the extent of our influence on the direction of this company.

"there really was no reason to create preferred shares" - Oh... there is a reason. You and I just don't know what the reason is and my money is on that they will Pass. Like I said before.... this is all just a formality (imo of course).
