Colored diamonds

Colored diamondsColored diamonds are not just pink and brown. Yellow and white. There is a range of colors in between. If our little 0.25 carat yellow is not fancy yellow, then blow me down it must be darn close. Vivid yellow at least. That still commands a premium. The colored diamonds situation is not black and white. Optimists say we have fancies. Sky is falling types say we have urine and poo brown. (alas even Will P is closer to the no colors view). But they are there. Color is a continuum. I don't think I can repeat myself any more or be any clearer.
The colored diamonds are there. It's just that they are not as material as the large clears that make up 43% of our $/c. So they only got one sentence in the press release:

"The parcel contained a number of yellow diamonds. None of these were fancy yellow, but the depth of colour indicates that fancy yellow diamonds may be found in a production scenario".

The colored diamonds are there. PGD just didn't allocate the space in the PR and/or believed they are less of a story than the large clears. Fair enough, they weren't.  I guarantee you there is a section in the WWW report on colors and it probably says we need 10,000 carats to start modelling colors. The report would also give a value to our yellows. We just haven't been told it yet.
