Hey Coyote did you also see in the local news that pretty soon (like starting next year) 100s of Baynes Sound area shellfish workers will also have to be laid off permanently?

In the last few years some sort of unknown water quality issues have gotten ever worse with the net result being that there now is massive mortality of cultivated oyster and scallop operations, to the point that commercial group ops cannot remain vialble.

So maybe all CEC will need to do is wait a few more years to let all the Comox area shell fish industry go belly up and thus eliminate any and all such environmental concerns thus making way for unhindered permitting approvals for the coal mine?
