RE:RE:RE:RE:Directors' Hand in the Game

RE:RE:RE:RE:Directors' Hand in the GameI agree that the Board's judgment seems in question, however they may have felt that they had enough to get them through the crisis and just underestimated, hence the need to suddenly go to the market and a private financing is quicker than a Rights Offering.  One of my tests is whether the Board is aligned with the Company and my point was that no net material change in share ownership has happened in the last year. They have exercised rights and share options to bring in equity to span this unexpected setback and maintained their individual positions.  I see it as a good sign that they are recruiting directors with retail expertise for the next leg up, however it is also my experience that founders have to be replaced at the appropriate time and this is the Board's responsibility. This remains a caution but an experienced activist shareholder like Mr. Haywood being involved is a positive.
