Why UEX dropped such a promising project?

Why UEX dropped such a promising project? As part of my DD, a question is bothering me -

UEX is a well funded and very successful U explorer in Athabasca, they know most of relevant information about Gibbons property, (except recent radon reading?)  If it is a highly promissing property why they dropped it as non-core holding?

Unlike those early birds to Athabasca (UEX - previously "Pioneer", Hathor, Fission...), Lakeland has to pick up projects from those dropped property.  May be this is more like a gambling, even highly knowledgeble and experienced geologists can only work in a try & error manner?

Anybody
