Mr. Mackenzie Loree reports
PETROSTAR REZONING APPLICATION AND PUBLIC HEARING RESCHEDULED WITH VULCAN COUNTY
The public hearing and second reading of Petrostar Petroleum Corp.'s revised rezoning application for its tank farm and modular refinery development in Vulcan county, Alberta, has been rescheduled from March 5, 2014, to April 2, 2014. Given the delay, the company would like to extend the opportunity to local residents of the development area to call or e-mail Petrostar with any questions or concerns they may have about the rezoning application.
Mackenzie Loree, Petrostar's chief executive officer, commented: "Due to unforeseeable circumstances, the public hearing and second reading has been rescheduled for the company's land rezoning application. Although the timing of this is poor, I would like to take this opportunity to field any additional questions or concerns from Vulcan county residents that wish to speak with me directly. Petrostar hopes to establish a presence in the development area for decades to come, and it relishes the chance to allow people in the area to familiarize themselves with the company and the benefits that it can bring to the community, Vulcan county and the Province of Alberta."
