RE:What Is Wrong With This Picture?

A compelling presentation! A two year retrospective (almost to the day) to Birchcliff's far more flattering present situation. Yes, it is undervalued and yes it is going higher. You've quoted the Henry Hub April contact. That hub is of course located in Louisiana. Temperatures there have moderated somewhat in Florida and Louisiana and that April contract is an injection season month. Current cash prices at the AECO hub in Alberta, the U.S mid continent and northeast reflect winter prices and are much higher. AECO spot today was $7.25 mcf C$. And winter is not over just yet for the Northern U.S and for us in Canada. So by my reckoning Bir is going to have a great first quarter.
If some have seen those interview clips of Peter Crossgrove with Howard Green you will note Crossgrove’s comment that board members should have substantial stakes in their company. Seymour Schulich has approx 40 million shares or a 400 million stake. So his money is right in there with ours when the dice are being rolled in the operation of this company. Surely this would satisfy the "Crossgrove criteria" that those in charge have serious skin in the game.
