RE:RE:RE: RE: Dutch Auction
Over 35 million shares have traded in the last 30 days. Sheldon Inwentash controls 13.5 million warrants with Sheldon holding the majority of his ownership in RRSPs and Pinetree continues to add in the open market. It is inevitable that some of the warrants will be exercised to supply the existing demand for shares and allow new shareholders to gain a position at reasonable prices. Shares are of course being accumulated by new interests as can be seen in the trading pattern with new brokerage houses initiating first time buys. It is likely that additional warrants will get exercised to lock in some profits. However these warrants have long expiry dates so owners will not be forced to exercise early. Based on news and the ability that management have shown to execute on the business plan these warrants should not represent overhang. They certainly have not so far as history indicates an orderly market with increasing interest to accumulate POET. After all no one wants the share price to go parabolic so some throttling back with new shares hitting the market is healthy.
