Excerpt from stockwatch article describing True Grit reality
David Hutchin's United Kingdom-based Global Resources Investment Trust has finally listed on the London Stock Exchange, closing today unchanged at one pound on no volume. This is the trust that spent the past several months acquiring positions in 41 junior mining companies, many of which are listed in Canada. The juniors handed over their shares, in exchange for shares of GRIT at a deemed price of one pound. The trust would have had more investments, but a handful of juniors pulled out after months passed and the listing had yet to happen. Those that stuck around will need a little more patience. For the next six months, GRIT has control over all sales of its shares. Mr. Hutchins says the junior-held GRIT shares are set to be sold to institutional investors over the next six weeks.
