RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:POET & UconnI'm still on the fence about what I believe about the licensing path. It's the sensible route compared with the plan announced last year, where we announce we're for sale and see who wants us.
This way we proceed as a company hoping to grow and if we get picked up by Intel, we do so from a position of strength. And if the buyout comes later than expected we just do business in the meantime.
Personally, I'm hoping for the license model because I think we will hit the multidollar range that many hope for, even without a buyout offer. My second place choice would be to sell to a company that is publicly traded so I can follow the patents. Intel would be great - their SP is pretty low these days considering the business they do. Everyone is counting them out because they are behind (nonexistent?) in the mobile market. Buying POET could instantly make them a contender.
