RE:Woulfe Mining Video News Alert on Investmentpitch.comI think this promo video and the upgraded website may have extreme significance as a possible indication that Woulfe/Dundee may now actually have an intent to promote/support Woulfe share value and the stock price rather than drive it down.
I think it is a reasonable speculation that since Brian left, concerted efforts have been made to drive share prices down to allow Dundee to acquire substantially more stock, if not controlling interest, at substantially averaged down costs. Dundee's first 10% interest in WOF was acquired in the .25 average per share range. I believe in one transaction, Dundee paid up to .38 per share. Since Brian, Dundee has controlled WOF actions and Dundee's average WOF acquisition costs have been more like .125 per share. I know that Dundee has contributed money to WOF, but, post Brian, there have few, if any, outward signs of WOF stock promotion or support by either WOF management or Dundee. To the contrary, the substance of the first meaningful press release issued post Brian was that the company was in financial trouble and there was no guarantee it would survive, or that required financing could be obtained. Since then, no meaningful press releases on serious progress have occured either. We only appeared to receive press releases required by law, or news releases that a lot of expensive work was required for which no financing was assured. Accordingly, during this period, the stock price tanked, and Dundee accumulated.
But now, and seemingly for the first time since Brian, we are advised that the website is to be upgraded and we have a WOF promo video. Obviously, these two "stock promotional" actions (undoubtedly controlled by Dundee who controls WOF) would be inconsistent with efforts to further drive down the stock price to allow for greater Dundee stock accumulation at yet further reduced prices. From this I reason that for the first time post Brian, a sea change may be in progress to actually support and enhance WOF stock value. In this reasoning, I discount that "up to now" WOF totally lacked funding to upgrade its website, pay for investor relations, knock off a cheap promo video, attend promotional conferences and everything else that a company does to market itself. Really, if a company can't afford an updated website and promo video to market itself its likely already long since insolvent, and I don't believe anyone at WOF has really missed any meals.
Thus, in my humble opinion, the new website and promo video suggests that the period of a seemingly concerted effort to drive down WOF stock prices by no news, no promotion, and the day of the "questionable hope for the future" news release may be changing, if not over. If true, I think this bodes well for increased stock prices, perhaps from here on out, as supported by WOF management and Dundee. We can only hope. Seg
