RE:RE:RE:Value and OpportunityThe one good thing about the FP-1 arriving to the Stella field a bit later than anticipated is that all of the ground work/risers etc will now be 100% complete at the Stella field. So I would think that once this FP-1 arrives at the Stella field and baring no brutal weather then I would think that this unit should be pumping oil within a month. Remember this unit needs to be anchored properly and all connections to the platform completed and then you will have commissioning of the whole unit. This commissioning could go very fast or if you have problems it could take a while. As long as Petrofac does a very detailed check and test of all the components at the shipyard then all should go very well. The bottom line is DO NOT send this FP-1 out to the Stella field untill you are 100% sure that all parts and pieces are complete and working as designed. The devil is in the details and Prtofac should know this as they have been in this business for a very long time.
Everybody has a lot of skin in the game at this stage so moving this FP-1 in place without it being 100% ready to pump the max out of the Stella field is not an option.
