I'm not the one going WHOOPEE INSIDER DOING HIS OPTIONS !! I just said I could maker an argument that it was a negative signal.
A tax based argument for exercising prior to a positive stock performance is not valid as far as rate calculations on options as opposed to capital gains.
Why so defensive ?
