Interesting that you observed that because its the standing pattern and why I like moving in when its trading ex divi. Takes the risk out of it. A lot of investors got caught on the run up to 1.70 in 2012. I know I did fortunately there was plenty of opportunity to make up that loss but I don't want to repeat the experience. Best to minimize risk and make a little less. I'm quite sure the new longs will be rewarded this time around though.
