RE:Here we goAwesome. I really do think a mine (not as you know it) is possible in 4 years with this programme. Put it this way. With this programme and $7M they are on track for that, but could still have some additional delays along the way.
I like the focus on bulk sampling and near to CH-6 -which will be a mine. They really are focussing on adding tonnage, which has been a main and real concern on this site (other than dilution). They also got the hint from De Beers that trenching works well, so will see more of that which is good.
So there will be another PP soon that will complete in days IMO.
What I don't like is the mention of ground geophysics. A waste of our time and money. Heliborne gravity Brooke. A kimberlite finding machine.
Low level high resolution magnetics Brooke using UTS geophysics or Xcalibur geophysics. The PAC750XL or Airtractor can fly 20m off the ground SAFELY. It will cover one target in 20 minutes and cost you <$600. If you do it on the ground it will cost multiples of that and take ALL DAY.
Oh and the aricraft will have spectrometer data. If the kimberlite is sticking out of the ground you will detect it as a thorium response. C'mon Herman, Brooke and Grant. Airborne is the way to go.
Send the gmag people prospecting. Better rewards there.
Specially modified RC drill is interesting. Perhaps with the smaller kimberlites they can get away with less diameter and thus reduce drilling costs, mob/demob costs and speed up the process.
