Ok Boss,

Care to share why you see the connotations around door #0 as negative?

As someone knowledgable in gold producers you know just how hard it is to turn a profit in the first year of operation. Any kind of a bottom line net profit in 2014 would be a stellar result IMO. But the bottom line net comes after all the other spending/investments have been tallied. You had a huge one time expense, there goes your bottom line net profit... just the way it is.

But the disciple of looking at top line revenue and bottom line net is good IMO. When you use this formula on established producers you get results very close to their stated all in production costs.  And ultimately it is only all in production costs that matter.

Sure you might argue that you need to over look one time expenses because it masks the real profitability. But to be fair, the one time expenses are only counted once so it is all good if you are looking for profitable producers.

So Boss, it looks like you want to pick door #0, if only it had more positive wording. So please suggest to me the wording you'd like to see for door #0 (has to be related to positive bottom line net) and I'll look to make an update -- I don't think changing the wording on door#0 will change any of the existing door picks (I know I'm firmly stuck on door #4 and would consider BGM very successful in 2014 if they avoid door #4 -- you can quote me on that in 2015 :)
