Student HousingWe haven't got many details but I have to assume that management will be leasing these properties. This is an extremely high margin business:
Essentially landlords pile in as many students as they can into a residence, and rent it out by the room. For example, let's say a 6-bedroom in downtown Toronto costs $3,000 a month to rent. You charge each student an average of $800 - that's $4,800 month. For a cool profit of $1,800 from the one house, in a month. Student housing is great!
I'd like to read the official details, but I don't see it playing out any other way.
