Beat up REITs

Beat up REITsI've been adding to my poor beat up REITs for the last couple of weeks. Valuations were getting high and we needed a sector pull back to rein in the run. I think we're looking at some good upside through the year. Lots of economic instability out there, and when the markets get flaky, I LOVE REITs. Unit prices may go down, but that just means cheaper units on the DRIP. Portfolio builds, and when the prices correct up, I win! I think we are just turning up out of the trough. I really like DI as a European recovery play, as well. With the Euro potentially strengthening, and the CAD falling, DI may have some currency profits as well. Certainly the cost of Canadian distributions is going down. Can everyyone say "distribution increase", boys and girls? Even if not, the increase in profitability makes me smile.
