JV
JVfor those here who may be better at this than me, what are the serious chances of a JV moving forward with what we now know.
Obviously, any potential JV wouldn't be as "sweet" as what DeBeers would have had, had they risked it before CH-6 results, but we need to raise capital to continue moving forward after the summer program.
We only really had DeBeers pull out, and most of us, pundits as well, now believe it was because of corporate balancing and not what the geologists were recommending. Every one has to ignore BHP pull as they pulled entirely out of Diamonds and the decision had nothing to do with Peregrine.
IMO, the Friedlands will not be willing to give up the farm NOW just to gain some deeper pockets, but what would they have to give up to get some new interest going? Deeper pockets are not going to JV at this stage for $hits and Giggles. Some here think that Robert could fund it without a JV, that road leads me down the take it private rabbit hole........ and a good 'reason' to let the sp flounder ......
Is a JV even in the cards? Is so, do we wait for the 2014 program to conclude, find a few more kimberlites? Don't think the ground news will to exciting this year.
Hate to see "desperation for capital" as we run out of 2014 be the reason for a JV, or to issue a ton of new paper....... or private option at this point.
